Call and Appointment Recording Notice

At Woodlands Medical Practice, we want to give you good care and be open about how we use your information.

Recording Phone Calls

Please note that we record all phone calls in and out of the practice.

We do this to:

  • Help train our staff
  • Improve our service
  • Keep patients safe
  • Help us look into complaints

We keep all recordings safe and secure. Only authorised staff can listen to them. We follow UK data protection laws.

Recording Appointments

Sometimes, doctors who are still in training (called registrars) may record appointments. This can be audio or video.

They do this to:

  • Help them learn and improve
  • Show their work as part of their training

These recordings are kept private and handled carefully.

If you do not want your appointment recorded, please tell us before your appointment. We will make sure it is not recorded.

Your privacy and comfort are very important to us.
